Overview

Xituhun was a member of the Irgen Gioro clan of the Plain Blue Banner during the early Qing Dynasty. His family had lived in the Jiamuhu area for generations and submitted to the Qing Dynasty at the beginning of the dynasty.

The official clan genealogy compiled during the Qianlong reign, *The General Genealogy of the Manchu Clans of the Eight Banners*, Volume 12, does not record his official position. It lists his great-grandson Muhunta as a Zuo Ling (military officer), his great-great-grandson Geji as a Chengmen Wei (city gate officer), Feiyanggu as a Langzhong (official in charge of official duties), Chaqibu as a San Deng Huwei (third-class bodyguard), and Deke as a Xiaoqi Xiao (cavalry captain).

The department to which the Langzhong belonged is not listed, nor is the prefecture to which the Huwei belonged, and this is not supplemented by officials from the same clan.

His fourth-generation descendant Kanbai as a Dianbu (clerk), Erse as a Siku (treasurer), Suerhu as a Mingzan (celebrator), and Guangming as a Jishizhong (censor).

A Dianbu was an official in charge of managing documents in an official government office, not the title of a specific book; a Siku was responsible for the treasury; a Mingzan handled ceremonial guidance and chanting; and a Jishizhong was responsible for supervising speech and auditing documents.

These positions in different government agencies cannot be simply combined into a single official resume.

Emutuji is the current head craftsman, whose job category is related to the management of construction and repair workshops, but the original text did not specify the organization, so it is impossible to add a specific workshop; later, there were lists of scribes and students, which respectively pertain to qualifications for office and study.

The individual's verifiable experience is still limited to clan, banner affiliation, ancestral residence, and background of allegiance.
