Overview

Bukecha was a member of the Yehe Fucha clan of the Plain Red Banner during the early Qing Dynasty. His family had lived in Yehe for generations and submitted to the Qing Dynasty at its inception. The official Qing Dynasty genealogy, *the Comprehensive Genealogy of the Manchu Clans of the Eight Banners*, Volume 25, records that his grandson Botoli served as a city gate captain, Mobuli as a wing commander, his great-grandson Muheli as a vice minister of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices, Dubo as a Qiduwei (hereditary merit rank), and Zhuoluo as a student of the Imperial Academy; his great-great-grandson Bayanga served as a Grand Secretary of the Inner Cabinet, Suobaozhu as an infantry captain, Wuge as a bow-making assistant commander, and Hongke and Erhei as scribes. Later generations also included officials such as assistant ministers and guard captains. The Court of Imperial Sacrifices was responsible for state sacrifices, with the vice minister assisting the minister. The Grand Secretary of the Inner Cabinet belonged to the central government's administrative system; city gate captain, infantry captain, and Qiduwei (hereditary merit rank) were different military management positions. The bow-making assistant commander was related to the management of palace weapon manufacturing; the title "assistant commander" should not be equated with a general garrison commander, and the specific system needs to be considered in conjunction with the evolution of the Military Equipment Bureau. "Student of the Imperial Academy" was an educational qualification, not an official position. The wing commander's affiliation was not specified in the original genealogy, so a wing commander for the mausoleum will not be added for now. Bukecha's own position is not recorded; the official titles of the later generations belong to various individuals. The names, positions, and terms of office of these individuals still need to be verified against the original inscription.
