Overview

Zhuone was a member of the Hadanara clan of the Bordered Blue Banner in the early Qing Dynasty. The original genealogy records him as the grandson of Wan, the leader of the Hadan people, who submitted to the Qing Dynasty at the beginning of the dynasty. Volume 23 of the official Qing Dynasty genealogy, *The Comprehensive Genealogy of the Manchu Clans of the Eight Banners*, records that he participated in the Jinzhou campaign as a dismissed official and died in battle. He was posthumously awarded the title of Qiduwei, which was inherited by his son, Luoluo. Luoluo served as Vice Minister of Rites and concurrently as a zuoling (banner-company commander), but was later dismissed, and the hereditary title was passed to his younger brother, Xiteku. "Dismissed official" indicates a person who has been dismissed from their post, not simply someone in idleness; the original genealogy does not specify which position Zhuone was dismissed from. Qiduwei was a posthumously awarded hereditary title based on military merit. The Vice Minister of Rites and zuoling were respectively central officials in charge of rites and banner management; inheriting a hereditary title did not necessarily mean simultaneously holding these positions. Xiteku later served as an official in the Ministry of Personnel, and was further promoted due to administrative evaluation and combat experience. His descendants experienced reductions, dismissals, and the continuation of the title by collateral branches. The original genealogy also records that Zhuone's descendants served as Provincial Treasurer of Gansu, General of Qingzhou, and Deputy Commander-in-Chief, among other positions. These locations and positions belong to the descendants, not to Zhuo Nei himself; his date of death, original position, and complex succession chain still need further verification.
