Overview

Sachiku was a member of the Sakda clan of the Bordered Blue Banner during the early Qing Dynasty. Volume 35 of the officially compiled *General Genealogy of the Manchu Clans of the Eight Banners* records that he served as a cavalry commander, his grandson Heheno also served as a cavalry commander, Isa served as an infantry commander at the time of compilation, his great-grandson Ilaqi served as a cavalry commander, and Biantaha served as a Grand Secretary. The appendix states that the family had lived in the Sakda region for generations and submitted to the Qing Dynasty at the beginning of its rule. Sachiku is a personal name here and cannot be automatically changed to a similar ancestral place name.

The cavalry commander was responsible for leading their assigned cavalry and handling daily military affairs. The infantry commander served the infantry defense system, while the Grand Secretary handled corresponding literary and administrative affairs within the central cabinet. The cabinet's institutional limitations must be retained and not changed to a Grand Secretary of the Hanlin Academy; the adjacent listing of civil and military officials' names does not imply the same direction of appointment.

The appearance of multiple generations of cavalry commanders only indicates that they held similar official positions and cannot be presumed to be a continuous hereditary succession of the same position. The current status of Isa and Biantaha corresponds to the time of the original book's compilation, without providing a precise date. Sachda's position, term of office as a cabinet reader, and the location of each battalion are pending verification. The official positions of his descendants are not included in Sachda's resume.
