Family record

Yibada was an early Qing member of the Irgen Gioro clan of the Plain Red Banner, associated with Xiermen. His household joined the Manchu polity in its formative period. Volume 15 of the *Comprehensive Genealogy of the Eight Banner Manchu Clans* does not identify any individual office held by Yibada. Instead, it gives a long catalogue of later descendants and their appointments, with some difficult divisions between personal names.

Guard, administrative and company offices

A later-generation descendant, Teyinzhu, formerly served as a *hujunxiao* within the Guard establishment. A fourth-generation descendant, Yasihai, held a position transcribed in the genealogy as *fensi*. Because its department and specific duties are not established by the short entry, this term should be retained provisionally rather than turned without evidence into a named departmental secretary or local commissioner. Several other relatives were listed as *hujunxiao*, while Luomidai served as a *xiaoqixiao* involved with Banner soldiers.

The record also includes a fifth-generation descendant, Gadahun, who formerly served as a *zuoling* or Banner company captain, and Aduhu, formerly a *zhushi* administrative secretary. A sixth-generation descendant, Suozhu, served as a *yuanwailang* in departmental administration. Military and civil positions must be identified separately rather than treated as a single family career.

Genealogical limits

Other listed clan members include *bitieshi* clerks and additional *zuoling* officers; a shared clan designation does not automatically make them all direct descendants of Yibada. The original text needs close inspection for line breaks and personal-name boundaries before a complete pedigree can be constructed. The exact location of Xiermen, the employing institution of *fensi* and appointment periods remain uncertain.
